Promoting positive food habits through fun and hands-on learning.
Most programs at Rivendell School have established their own gardens where students actively plan, propagate, maintain and harvest different vegetables and plants.
These established gardens are also used as a springboard for other curricula and interest activities. For example: PDH, Science, healthy living, cooking, Lifeskills, and SRC led initiatives.
In 2016 the school became part of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Community and we have utilised many resources and information by connecting with this program.
