On Thursday 24th May, the Rivendell Student Representative Council ran a fundraising stall at the Concord Hospital Markets. The students enjoyed the opportunity to operate a market stall and fundraise for the student body. Products on offer included student art and photography, knitted baby-wear, fragrant bath bombs and unique greeting cards. All of the products sold at the stall were crafted by creative Rivendell students.
The Rivendell SRC have held a fundraising stall twice a year for the past 3 years in order to raise money to support student-led initiatives. This stall was an enormous success, and the Rivendell SRC will meet this week to decide how the funds raised can be put toward an initative that will benefit the Rivendell student body.
A big thank you to the wonderful SRC reps and the Paterson program for helping to run this stall, and to the Concord Hospital and all members of the public who supported the SRC on the day.
