For the first time ever, Titanic the Exhibition has arrived in Sydney! When news arrived that we could explore the Grand Staircase, First Class Cabin and touch and iceberg, we knew we had to visit.
So on Tuesday, Rivendell students headed off to Moore Park with both education and health staff to immerse themselves in 1912.
On arrival, both students and staff were presented with a boarding pass with information of one of the original passengers on the Titanic. The task was to learn, both from the artifacts and the information inside, whether they had survived or not.
Titanic the Exhibition was quite an experience. Both students and staff were transported back in time through the amazing sights, sounds and and stories of the Titanic voyage.
A special thanks to Taya at Titanic the Exhibition for supporting Rivendell students and making the excursion accessible for us.
