In the Friday afternoon fishing workshop last week, some students and staff took advantage of the great weather and head to the beautiful river banks of Rivendell to cast off. The Parramatta River shoreline is a great place to find all sorts of fish, particularly whiting and flathead.
One student was particularly lucky and caught her first EVER fish! (which was placed straight back into the river, after a quick photo of course!)
The fishing workshop is a popular choice for our students – many of whom like to finish their week with a relaxing activity that teaches them valuable skills, whilst also allowing them to enjoy time in nature.
Other workshops on offer this term are Photoshop, Debating and Study Group.
