We at Rivendell feel that staff wellbeing is crucial for effective teaching and learning, and is a significant part of a maintaining a healthy school environment.
This term several members of Rivendell’s staff have been participating in weekly yoga classes!
Aside from the numerous physical benefits of yoga, it can also significantly improve a person’s mental well-being by increasing mental clarity and calmness.
The yoga class, run by the wonderful Natalie, has seen consistent participation each week; and it has been wonderful to see that staff – from total beginners to the more advanced – have committed to regular attendance and have been giving it their all.
